Irony of Patience and Inversion

With these two portraits of Jophiel and Uriel, I learned some things: don't hurry myself when I need rest and enjoying my favorite color (green).
With Uriel, it was a bit tougher to think of a good pose for this angel. I already had two drawings of Uriel before, but I never colored them. So thinking of a color palette was a bit tougher compared to the others as far as making them distinct is concerned. Many of the other angels I've depicted usually have rather cool colors for their hair, save for Raphael. I will get to more softer colors at some point for them aside for their clothes. It's just that this technique in particular tends to start dark then to lighter colors. I suppose I need to go back to my value studies by the judge of some of my recent portraits...and maybe fix the colors for the screen of my computer making my art a certain way!
