A Walk Down Memory Lane

I hadn't drawn some fanart in a long time, and I thought of coloring a hand drawn artwork of Moe Rikyou and Fuzuki Koyama from Arina Tanemura's Full Moon wo Sagashite manga. While the anime was cute, it lacked a lot of backstory for Meroko/Moe, and I really liked her friendship with Fuzuki, Mitsuki's grandmother. Perhaps they thought too much on the cute marketing for the manga and anime in some ways over the more serious themes of the work. Full Moon was a manga/anime I really enjoyed a lot as a teenager, even with some of its flaws that I see as an adult. Though, one huge merit of the work that I see in this and even other works like Revolutionary Girl Utena, is that it tries to give teenagers to see and believe in a future where life isn't as scary as they thought it was, and it's worth living as your world gets bigger.
Otherwise, it was fun working in Krita with some various brushes and techniques for these two.
