So Neocities Website Building is an Adventure
Wednesday, February 21st, 2024 11:07I have to say, learning HTML and CSS is no joke! Well, it's not a joke if you really want a snazzy website. Though, things like that type of work to be a bit of a problem solving quest can be really rewarding if it comes out well. If not, well, it's rather annoying until you get it right. At least when it comes out wrong, it's just another way to avoid the next time around.
So far, I'm pretty happy with adjusting and wrestling with the font between today and yesterday. It's the right amount of readable and fancy, the way I wanted these fonts to look on my page. Now, I need to make some pictures to decorate of my own in the widgets and other parts of the website, and finally write out an about page. I'll have to see what I will do for a guestbook page as well. I think those are the most easiest to handle after the index is done.
I should also consider making more icons of my OC art to make for Dreamwidth, especially for writing my own original fiction on top of maybe drawing a few scenes or even comics sometime in the near future. I'm just pretty excited these days to share my stuff a lot more from private, spiritual reflections and the signs of the times. I gotta make my time count, regardless of how that would make me look. But in the end, what is my life's testimony and my impact on others? What will make it through the fire of what will remain eternal?
