Technique Reflection

There's worth in knowing how to do both. Sometimes doing cel shading makes me question whether I'm doing enough in really portraying the scene of art with real depth. Though, part of that also relies on how realistically the form is drawn, too. Perhaps my own comfort zone can get in the way of either.
However, I am trying out techniques that appeal more to my painterly side that doesn't have to feel like I have to choose the more simpler way I understood one approach over the other. At least part of my more traditional understanding can translate over digitally where I feel more motivated to complete that one folder of works in progress.
