hermenoodle: Leviticus looking at an EMF meter (leviticus)
This may seem small, but I have commented on two blog posts from a couple of writing communities I've been following for a while with little interactions.  I'm glad I did so, and it makes me think that even checking in a little of what I did do that day to someone somewhere can make a difference in how I keep accountability outside of myself to measure a sense of progress on my work, even if it's merely for me.

So, in my planning of writing my stories from how I've been using Ellipsus, I've decided to print out their templates and collect them in a folder for writing by hand for my stories in binders I've put together.  I am trying this as a way to remind myself how I used to like writing in elementary school when we had writer's workshop and to discourage my overuse of digital technology to store what I've written.

I'm also feeling something similar to my traditional work: I want to extend that to put my materials I've gained over the years to good use to create beautiful things without pressuring myself to make it perfect to a standard of perfection that doesn't exist even for me.  It just has to exist on paper, and I can improve from there.  That is enough for me.
